Timothy “Tim” McCarthy

1961~2020McCarthyIt is with great sadness that we announce that our brother, Tim McCarthy passed away yesterday after a long battle with diabetes and kidney disease. Timothy “Tim” McCarthy, age 58, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed on June 11, 2020.Tim is predeceased by his wife, Lori Gadonas and his daughter, Megan.Survived by his son Timothy McCarthy II, his father, Harry T. McCarthy, his sisters, Pat Wallace (Andy Leins), Rose Rowan, Jeanne Ervin (Tom), many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Tim grew up in Colwyn and graduated from Darby Colwyn in 1979. Tim worked as respiratory therapist for years but music was the love of his life. He passed his love of music on to his children Timmy and Megan. Tim sang with several bands over the years and had great success as a vocalist with Soulward which can be accessed on Spotify.Service and Interment Private
