Theresa G. Scaperotto

SCAPEROTTO1929~2021Theresa G (nee Colasante), age 91, of Overbrook, passed away on February 28, 2021. Predeceased by her beloved husband Charles A Scaperotto of 68 years, and her two loving sisters, Maria Santoro and Rita Quagliarello. Survived by her cherished children, Albert F. and Charles S. (Susan), 5 adoring grandchildren and 12 cherished great-grandchildren.Theresa devoted her life to the betterment of others. She volunteered at the Widener Memorial School for handicapped children, served as member of the Board of the Delaware Valley chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation and headed Saint Joseph’s University Bellarmine Guild for over 20 years. In 1991 she was awarded the Saint Joseph’s University Alumni Association prestigious Hogan Award for the exemplification of Christian principles and outstanding loyal service to the University. Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday, March 5th 8:45AM-9:45AM with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 AM (ALL IN CHURCH) at St. Colman Church 11 Simpson Road, Ardmore, PA 19003 Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Theresa’s memory can be made to the Eastern Pennsylvania Hemophilia Foundation Victoria Business Center, 1489 Baltimore Pike Suite 227, Springfield, PA 19064 would be appreciated.Live streaming of the Mass will begin promptly at 10:00 AM.
