Sr. Ann O'Connell, RSM

Sister Ann O’Connell RSM, age 77, died peacefully at McAuley Convent, in Merion, Pennsylvania on Sunday, January 25, 2022.Fiat Laetitia: A joyful Yes. Sister Ann lived her motto each day. Expressing joy for God’s gifts, Ann greeted everyone who came to the Sea Isle vacation house with a vibrant joy. In her many ministries throughout the years Ann lived her Yes with joy. From her beginning ministries as an elementary teacher and principal to her teaching in secondary school Ann repeated her yes over and over. Ann expanded her ministerial roles to include Ministry Director and member of the Merion Leadership Team. Always open to new challenges, Ann served as Vice President of Mission Services at Mercy Suburban Hospital and later at Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia. Finally, her Yes led her to become the Director of the vacation house at Sea Isle City, NJ where she greeted all with her gracious hospitality.
