GRIPPI Samuel J. “Sam”, on July 10, 2011 of Secane, PA. Sam served in the United States Army with the 101st during WWII and was in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a retired machinist from the Phila. Navy Yard. Survived by his wife of 64 years Rita G. (nee Monaco), his daughters Katherine Castiello (John) and Lorraine J. Grippi, his grandson Garth Darville (Sandra) and sister Sally Grippi. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thurs. 9:30-10:30 A.M. followed by his Funeral Mass 10:45 A.M. at St. Francis Country House Main Chapel, 1412 Lansdowne Ave. Darby, PA 19023. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
