Rose Marie, (nee Keilman) age 75 of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away in her home, on May 10, 2023. Rose Marie grew up in Fairmount and attended Hallahan High School where she was proudly the president of the rosary club. After she married her honey, Bob, they moved to Drexel Hill and joined St. Bernadette’s parish. Rose Marie worked at Lankenau Hospital for 26 years and she loved every minute of it.

Rose Marie lived a full life spreading love to every person that she met. There wasn’t a person in her life who get by her without a hug and a kiss. She loved spending the summers in Sea Isle soaking up the sun and admiring the ocean. The only thing she loved more than the beach and an ice cream sundae was her family and her faith.

Rose Marie was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Survived by her children, Monica R. Boyle, and Robert W. Saunders, Jr. and her beloved granddaughter, Amanda Rose (Kyle) MacMillan. She leaves behind family and her chosen family: her niece and nephew Colleen and Ken Knowles, Laura MacMillan, Claire (Matt) Durso, Roberta Calabrese and Joyce McHugh.

Rose Marie’s family would be remiss if they didn’t thank her care team at Lankenau who saved her life in 2012 after a triple bypass surgery and continued to care for her for the last eleven years. A special thanks to Jen Fox for giving us these extra years with her.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Tuesday May 16^th 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Bernadette’s Church 1001 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Bernadette’s parish where Rose Marie was an active parishioner for over 50 years.
