Writing on behalf of my mother Marie Liberati, who now has dementia.
One day,Rose surprised my mother at her Florida home and introduced my mom to her friend Claire. Claire and my mother became best friends ever since Rose introduced them, and I am so grateful .My mother and Rose were both members of UNICO and I remember how much fun Rose was ,seeing her at the annual fashion shows. Offering sincere condolences to Rose's family.

Rose was a good friend of mine. She was such fun especially when we played "May I" with Theresa & Beverly. I visited her when she first moved to Solara. I have missed her. RIP Rose.

Holding my very dear aunt and all the Origlio/Pompeis in my heart.
My Aunt Rose was, in no particular order: Fun-loving and funny. Fond of romance novels and Negroni cocktails. Forever devoted to her husband Arnold but knew a handsome gent when she saw one and didn't hesitate to say so. Partial to all things and flavors Italian. An immaculate house cleaner. A killer cook. A fan of white Keds sneakers and pastel colors. A party girl. Blunt but in a nice way. I'm a "people person," she'd often say. Indeed you were, Aunt Rose. An original for the ages, you will be missed.

There are so many wonderful memories of Aunt Rose that I have going back to my childhood in South Philadelphia. She loved holding court and entertaining her circle of friends whether it was around a card table or sitting by a pool. One always knew where she stood. She didn't mince words and never held back. And boy oh boy could she look like a million dollars when we would all go to dinner in Florida. She was a good friend to my mother for many years and for that I will always be grateful. Rest well dear Aunt. Your wonderful humor and spirit will be missed.
