My heart bleeds for Bob's family. I worked with Bob 4 times since 1989 back when I was just a know it all kid but really he taught me everything I know about the car business. It never ceased to amaze me with being in the toughest part of the toughest industry he still could laugh. He was also one of the last HONEST Svc. Managers I had the pleasure to work with. One thing that I will miss is he and I crossed paths professionally several times over the years and we loved to watch coworkers guess how we were related when in reality we weren't. Bob taught me that no problem couldnt be fixed and not to take my work home. I also could count on him for a glowing reference if I needed it. We never lost touch and he was always good for a laugh and pulled my rear end out of the fire on more than one occasion, I will never forget that and always be grateful.He loved his wife and family so much and always bragged about his kids and Grace.The thing that makes me the saddest is that in all the years I've known Bob he was always "two years from retirement" this I heard for 20 years. He was looking so forward to Virginia. I hope hes hanging out with all his car race heroes.I am lucky to have known him and will truly miss him.Denise Ellis
