Rita Badalamenti passed away peacefully on March 21, 2022. Of Woodlyn, formally of SW Phila. She is now at peace with her husband and son. Wife of the late Salvatore “Sam” Badalamenti, mother of the late Mark A. “Bal” Badalamenti.Also survived by many loving friends. Rita had many talents but cooking and dancing were her two favorites by far and she was exceptional at both. She also had a brilliant career that she loved. Rita was an assistant publisher for the Southwest Globe for thirty years which enabled her to meet and become friends with some of the most influential people in Philadelphia during that time. Rita was an amazing woman, she loved life and lived it to the fullest. Relatives & Friends are invited to her viewing Saturday 9 am at the Divine Mercy Worship Site (Formally St. Irenaeus Church) 2728 S. 73rd Street Phila. Funeral mass will begin at 10am.
