SWEENEY Richard P. “Pete” on Aug. 12, 2011 of Aston. Former owner of Sweeney’s Pub in Marcus Hook. Member of the American Legion Post 926 in Aston. Pete loved to go crabbing off his boat at the shore, an avid Phillies, Eagles and Tampa Bay Rays fan. Survived by his wife Eyvonne C. (nee Reed), 5 children, 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and his brother John “Jack” Sweeney. Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Mon. 10:30 – 11:45am at the Danjolell – Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Rd. Funeral services in our main chapel at 12 noon.
