Philip F Costanzo, 78, of Springfield, PA formerly of South Philadelphia was born on May 9, 1943, and passed peacefully on November 26, 2021.He was predeceased by his Parents, Anthony and Rose (nee Pantalone) Costanzo, stepbrothers John and Salvatore Pantalone and cousins John Verna, Louis Verna and Joseph Costanzo, Jr.He is survived by Aunt Rita Rossi; GodChild, Tricia Alesandro and cousins Patricia Pantalone, Shamaine Costanzo, Joseph (MaryAnne) Fuscaldo,Angela (Matt) Ruggiero, Carla (Richard) Sarlo, Christina Ross, Michael Rossi and Dominic Rossi.Philip attended Bishop Neumann High School and went on to study at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.He was employed at JP Apfelbaum Stamp Shop in Philadelphia, Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby and from 1979, Crozer-Chester Medical Center.He was a fan of all Philadelphia PRO football, hockey and baseball teams. He enjoyed playing baseball for local Philadelphia leagues until he was 47.Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, December 16th from 9AM-10:30 AM at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home located at 2811 West Chester Pike in Broomall, PA. (610-356-4200) At 10:30 a Catholic service will also be held at D’Anjolell Memorial Home.
