GARABEDIAN1949 – 2020Paul Garabedian, age 71, of Havertown, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Paul had a life-long career as a salesman, spending most of his time working for Time and Parking Controls, Inc. He enjoyed engaging with people, as he could talk to anyone about anything. As a proud veteran of the US Navy, Paul liked to interact with and help other Veterans. Paul enjoyed the time he spent going to the Armenian Martyrs’ Church (his grandfather, Rev Haig Yardumian, was a founding member and the first pastor) where he served as an usher and worked outreach to feed the homeless.Paul is survived by his children Alyssa Jacoby (Joseph), Matthew Garabedian (Ann), and Jeffrey Garabedian, grandchildren, Sloane Jacoby and Malina Garabedian, ex-wife Angela Diegnan Garabedian, brother Charles Garabedian, sister Lucy DiRemigio, nephew Kai DiRemigio, as well as extended family and friends.A visitation for family will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020, 9:30 – 10:45 AM, at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Memorial Contributions may be made in Paul Garabedian’s name to the Armenian Martyrs’ Congregational Church (AMCC), 100 North Edmunds Ave., Havertown, PA 19083
