Patricia Ann McLaughlin-Fitzsimmons (nee Neagle), who was known as MomMom by those closest to her, was called home to Jesus on August 8, 2023. Patricia was 76 years old and lived a full life in devotion to her Lord and Savior.
Patricia was the daughter of Margaret Neagle (nee Kubach) and George Neagle. Survived by her companion Michael Fitzsimmons, her beloved children Michael, Kathleen, William, John, Joseph, Colleen, Jennifer, and Sean. She was a grandmother to 9 and great grandmother to 7. She is also survived by her loving sisters Mary Ellen, Kathleen, Sarah, Margie, and Eileen (preceded in death by Lillian and George)
Patty was a woman of faith. She was always sharing about Jesus and planting the seeds of the gospel in the hearts of family, friends, and strangers alike. She was a kind, selfless and generous soul to everyone and never turned her back on those in need. She was an extraordinarily gifted cook and enjoyed bringing her family together with a home cooked meal. MomMom had a deep love for children and ran a daycare where she poured her faith, talents, and time into kids her entire life. Some of the things that brought her heart joy were singing, entertaining, acting, drawing, and helping anyone and everyone she could. She was a glamorous woman who was known for her jewelry, wigs and endless wardrobe. She adored getting dressed in her best attire for any occasion. She was truly a powerhouse.
A verse that encapsulates Patricia’s enduring faith: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” -Isaiah 40:31
In honor of her celebration of life, if you choose to not wear the typical black attire we’d encourage you to wear your most colorful wardrobe to match her vibrant and vivacious personality.
Relatives & friends are invited to her Visitation Monday, August 14th 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM followed by her Funeral Service 12:00 PM at D’Anjolell-Barone Memorial Home 908 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086. Luncheon will follow at Anthonys Ristorante 865 W Springfield Rd, Springfield, PA 19064
