Although the good doctor wasn't our uncle, my three brothers, sister and I referred to him as "uncle." He was a real fine gentleman; his late wife, Pauline, was a wonderful person, also. They were among my parents' closest friends. My parents cherished them, and my siblings did as well. Uncle Pat will be missed.
