DeRosaMichael J. age 70, on October 5, 2021, of Broomall, PA.A native of Philadelphia from “down the hill” Overbrook and small business owner for more than 30 years, Mike was a “salt of the Earth” guy who strongly loved the Lord, his family, great food, and Philadelphia sports teams. He had a strong work ethic, and was a well respected employee of the Marple Newtown School District in his retirement. Those who knew him closely will remember his great sense of humor, fondness for classic movies and classical music, and reminiscing about the “good old days.” Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rita (nee Tursi) DeRosa.Survived by his devoted wife Rhona (nee Lichtenstein), his daughter Shana DeRosa, his son Justin (Renée) DeRosa, his brother Joseph DeRosa andhis nephew Michael DeRosa. The family will be honoring Mike with a “Celebration of Life” Open House on Saturday, October 9th from 12-5 pm at the DeRosa residence.
