Saia1946~202OMichael C. “Mike” Saia, age 74, of Upper Chichester, formerly of Darby, Pa passed away suddenly on November 29, 2020. He was the dad that giggled with us. He laughed all the time. Mike loved watching his grandkids play sports and could recite any and all sports stats from any sport. He loved to watch the Phillies, Flyers and Sixers and Eagles. He was a girl dad with 3 daughters, and walked us all down the aisle. He even wore a suit and combed his hair and giggled during our dances. He loves his fish aquarium and his pond of goldfish. He did the Inquirer crossword puzzle every day; and knew all the answers most days. He was our Dad, a Pop-Pop to 7, a brother, a son, a cousin, an uncle and husband to Isabelle for 52 years. Rest easy Dad, hang out with Marie, Jack and Michael. Keep them company and give them our love…keep them giggling.Predeceased by his son Michael C. Saia, Jr., and his parents Jack and Marie Saia.Survived by his cherished wife of 52 years, Isabelle A. Saia (née Burke). His beloved daughters, Isabelle M. Johnson(Bill), Andrea -Saia Brady ( John) and Chrissy Pennock ( Ed); his adoring 7 Grandchildren, Bryce, Kaitlyn, John IV, Eden, Brett, Carsyn and Morgan; also his dear brother Robert “Bob” Saia and many cousins.Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing on Saturday December 5th 9:15 AM-10:15 AM with Mass to follow (All in church) At 10:30 AM. Saint John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Avenue, Boothwyn, Pa 19061. Interment Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations in Mike’s name may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19140 would be appreciated.
