Mary Hughes Quigley passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Jan. 17, 2022 at her home in Rosemont. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Quigley; her granddaughter, Miriam Quigley; and her grandson James Klinges. She was an adored and loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her brother Peter Hughes, her children; Robert (Beth), Thomas (Amy), Lisa (Rick) Curran, Matthew (Cathy), Denise Klinges, andWilliam (Helena) and 17 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Mary was born on June 12, 1929 in Drexel Hill. In 1953 Mary married the love of her life Bob Quigley eventually settling in Drexel Hill and raising their six children. They moved to Villanova in 1976 and spent their later years dividing their time between Villanova and Naples, Florida. Mary made lifelong friends in both places, traveling back and forth holding her seat at the bridge club table. She was an avid golfer and was skilled at dodging the question of age when organizing a foursome.”Mimi” will forever be remembered as the caring, fun-loving and kindhearted matriarch of the Quigley family. She will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace.Services will be held at a later date.
