Mary Catherine Terra

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Mary Catherine Terra, known affectionately as “Granny,” age 95, on September 9, 2018.Mary was born on April 5, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Susan and Luigi DiCicco, and was very close throughout her life with her late sisters, Pat, Florence and Rita. She was married to the late Anthony Thomas Terra for over 50 years and took great pride in the beautiful family she built with him. Mary is survived by her children, Anthony (Kaycee), Robert (the late Christine), Janet (Alan) and Thomas (Christine), 12 adoring grandchildren and many very lucky great-grandchildren. She will be remembered by family and friends for her strength, compassion, raviolis, and unwavering love of her Philly sports teams. A memorial service will be held at The Catholic Community of Christ Our Light (402 Kings Hwy. North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002) on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
