Lois Ann (nee Orlando) Voci was born on 3 June 1940, in the Overbrook section of West Philadelphia. As a first-generation Italian-American, Lois worked in her parent’s bakery; CC Orlando & Sons, which served the Overbrook community for seven decades. Lois graduated from West Catholic high school with honors and married Anthony J Voci, Sr. ; they were married for 62 years. Lois raised four children while becoming a successful real estate agent in Delaware County. Lois was a world-class cook and baker and hosted nearly every holiday dinner for over 50 years. She was a strong, confident, and generous woman who loved traveling, and spending time with her many friends, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Lois Ann Voci was the American Dream incarnate and leaves behind a legacy of love.
Survived by her husband of 62 years Anthony Voci Sr., her children Anthony Jr., Steven (Cocoe), Christopher (Britta) and Lisa (Dean) DiValerio, her 6 Grandchildren Dina (Derek) McKinley, Francesca (Jesse) Sataloff, Vaughn Voci, Lila Voci, Stella Voci, and Xaviar Voci and her brothers David Orlando, Robert (Karen) Orlando and Christopher (Lois) Orlando.
She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Orlando.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Tuesday Evening Nov. 8th; 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at The D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike 19008 then Wednesday Morning Nov. 9th; Visitation 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass 11:30 a.m. ALL IN CHURCH at Sts. Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382. Inurnment Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
