LLOYD A. ANDERSONLloyd Artist Anderson, originally from Jamaica, WI, and most recently of Southampton Township, NJ, passed peacefully at Taylor Hospice in Ridley Park, PA, on July 16th, 2015 after a bout with cancer.Anderson, 92, and his wife, Nola, lived in the Leisuretowne retirement community for close to twenty years, and Anderson attended the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. A watchmaker and jeweler by trade, he enjoyed repairing and collecting watches and clocks, and while residing in the Bronx, NY, restored several classic 1968 Mustang cars. Anderson is survived by his wife, Nola, by son Michael Anderson and his wife Gerry, of Hamilton, NJ, and by daughters Gerry Anderson Arango of Wallingford PA, and Gail Anderson of New York, NY. He was a loving grandfather to Megan Anderson Gregory, Courtney and Nicolas Arango, Jacob Harris, and great-grandfather to Jacob Jr., Lianna, Jayce, and Jemma Harris. Anderson is also survived by his siblings, Dudley Anderson, of Maine, and Pearl Powell, of Chicago.Lloyd Anderson was a man of few words, but one who made a lasting impact on his family, who will miss him dearly.Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a celebration of Lloyd Anderson’s life on Saturday, July 25, 2015. 12:30–2 PM visitation, and 2 PM service to be held at Danjolell-Barone Memorial Home, 908 South Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086.
