In 1957 he married the love of his life, Sally Weigand, (deceased 1999) and they began their life together in South Phila. In 1961, they moved to Briarcliffe to make a new home and raised their 2 daughters, Deborah Gavarone (Joseph) & Alison Nathan (Maria Addison).A true family man, completely devoted to his wife and children, adored his grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexis (Will Kupprion) and cherished his great-grandchildren Cruz, Gianna & Kane. He was also the devoted brother of Marlyn Cahan (Norman) and uncle of Stacy Gripman (Greg).He retired 1989 as V.P. at General Radio and always kept himself busy, with friends, family and loved making trivets for them all.He loved the Mummers, 76’rs and Hunts Gun Club. He was one of a kind, truly loved and will be missed by all. Gone but never forgotten. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Visitation on Tuesday, June 4th, from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM, at The D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall PA 19008. Funeral Service to follow 10:30 in the Main Chapel of the Memorial Home. Interment Arlington Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to The Providence Animal Shelter, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media PA 19063 would be appreciated.
