Josephine F. “Josie” age 85, on Jan. 7, 2022 of Layfette Hill and formally of Bryn Mawr, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Hollihan) Fitzpatrick. Josie was the oldest of three daughters. Predeceased by her sister Nancy McHugh and survived by her sister Eileen Shallow. She attended Country Day School of the Scared Heart and Rosemont College. She met her husband, Jack in Ocean City, New Jersey and they were married in 1960.Josie is survived by her husband of 61 years, John “Jack” Lynch her children, Kathy Hueth (the late Chris), Jack (Melissa), Christy, Patty and Susan Feffer; her grandchildren Christopher Hueth (Cheryl), Chandler Hueth Carr (Wish), Brendan Hueth, Jack Lynch, Shannon Lynch, Kerry Lynch, Tim Lynch, Tara Lynch, Jake Feffer, Rees Feffer and great grandson, Henry Lynch.Josie was a strong woman of faith, a devout Catholic with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. She loved spending time with her family and many wonderful friends. She had a warm and welcoming personality with a special gift of making everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room. Josie was kind, compassionate and loving, she went above and beyond to help others in need. She had a zest for life and a positive outlook and had the ability to find the silver lining in just about every situation. She had a powerful impact on the lives of many.Relative and friends are invited to her Visitation, Wednesday, January 12 at St. John Vianney Church beginning at 9:00 am followed by mass at 11:00 am atSt. John Vianney Church, 1110 Vaughan Ln, Gladwyne, PA 19035.In lieu of flowers, a memorial donations will kindly be accepted by St. Edmond Home for Children, 320 S.
