Dearest Dee, how sorry we are to learn of Joe's passing. Little did Lu and I know way back when but did suspect when we brought you two together, that you were meant for each other. A great life together including three wonderful sons followed. My friendship with Joe was long and although we will miss him, the suffering is over and he rests in a better place.

Joe.....words cannot nearly express my thanks to you for being my friend. I remember the first time I saw you at Manoa Field.for Hilltop Base ball practice....you pulled up in your 1/4 ton Chevy Pickup with your 3 guys wearing that St Joe's Alumni sweat shirt you seemed to never take off LOL ....boy were you proud of those boys and St Joes....eventually I became manager and you became one my coaches who was always there for every game....when I became in charge of all the fields and when the new 'shack' was being built you were my right hand man, ordering supplies and letting us torture your truck .....but you never complained and on top of that you became the Hilltop Babe Ruth League Treasurer.....spending many hours at registration and keeping the books in pristine order.....Joe ......you'll never know how important you were to Hilltop wearing your many hats and to me as an esteemed friend.....I'll miss getting up at 6AM AND GATHERING ALL THE FOOD AND DRINKS FOR CLEANUP DAY with you, loading your truck to the gills with sod from Orners, or just coaching games together.....Rest in peace my good friend. Ed.

To my one and only brother-in-law who made me laugh every time he visited Dad. He loved to dance especially to the "Electric Slide". What a smile. I will miss him and know that he was loved by all
