John R. (Basil) Martino

MARTINOJohn R. (Basil), age 76, on Sept. 23, 2018 of Bala Cynwyd, formerly of 49th St. Predeceased by his brother Ronald Martino.Survived by his beloved wife of 55 yrs. Lois (nee Ventura) his sons, John and David and his grandchildren, David & Joseph Martino and Steven Dioguardi.John was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School 1960, and later graduated Cosmetology School. Work started early for him at the Presidential Beauty Salon and a short time later became the owner of the Beauty Salon working over 50 years in the business. John’s family were the love of his life. He was a loyal friend and was always available to advise them of life lessons and was a great listener. The Jersey shore was one of his greatest pleasures where he spent a lot of his time with family and friends.The family would like to thank the caregivers for their kindness, attention and dignity shown to John while in their care.Relatives & Friends are invited to his visitation Fri. Morning 10:00 – 10:45 AM and Memorial Service 11:00 AM at The D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
