DoyleJohn G. “Jerry”, age 80 of Springfield, Pa formerly of Darby, PA passed away on December 2, 2021.Jerry was the son of the late John and Catherine (nee Cassidy) Doyle. He was predeceased by his dear brother William Doyle and sister Margaret Beckson.He was raised in Southwest Phila. He attended Good Shepherd for grade school and graduated West Catholic High School in 1958. He married and moved to Chicago for business opportunities with his beloved Uncle Bill. He returned to this area with a growing family to support and held a variety of jobs over the years, typically management positions. He worked hard to provide Catholic education for his children even working 3 jobs at one time.Jerry was a former member of BVM Parish where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He enjoyed golfing, pinochle, crossword puzzles, and cryptograms. Jerry loved spending time with his family above all else, especially making Sunday dinners. He was a fabulous cook. Jerry loved to dance and sing, occasionally making up his own fun lyrics for his grandchildren!He is survived by his beloved wife Joan (nee Schoettler) Doyle; his cherished children Deb Becker (Joe), Donna Milligan (Dave),Beth Dasovich (Steve) Jerry Doyle (Jacki), and Mike Doyle (Dina); his 13 adoring grandchildren Kim, Cheryl, Kelly, Amanda, Molly, Ryan, Hallie, Kayla, Kaitlin, Jake, Sean, Kyle, and Luke; also 1 great grandchild Josie; his dear brother Thomas Doyle (Maria) and sisters Patricia Clark, Mary Montez, and Kathryn Crescenzo. Jerry is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, December 11, 2021 10:00AM-10:45AM with Funeral Mass to follow 11:00AM (ALL IN CHURCH) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church: 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA 19070. Interment to be held at a later date.
