My sincerest condolences to John's family at this time. I would also like to let his loved ones know that even though he and I didn't know each other for the longest time I would like to say thank you for your service. Our Veterans who've fought for this country are now being overlooked and cast aside for migrants. It's sickening. I stand with the men and women who have fought for this country and struggle. Veterans need to be a top priority!

Dear Janis, Frank, JT, Anne, Matt and Family, There are no words for this nightmare. My heart is breaking for you and I wish I could take the pain away. John has always been one of my favorite. His smile could light up a room and his heart was huge! He was a very special young man who will be missed. Know you are in my prayers and thoughts. I wish I could physically be with you to give you a great big hug but I am in the hospital so I can't. Cherish your many many beautiful memories of John and know he continues to live in all of you and all who who were blessed to know him. I am so sorry for your loss. I love you all and pray the good Lord gives you the strength and courage for the coming days.

May angels lead him in. I hadn't seen John in years but I'll always remember fondly the times we spent together on Eldon Ave., whether just hanging out or when Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton hosted a Cub Scout meeting; at Huey Park, playing stickball or basketball; at Dermond Field watching John rip a single - fewer guys hit the ball harder. I thank John for his service to our country and may those he left behind find comfort and peace.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We will lovingly remember John as “John Bear” He was the cutest and cuddly kid and always gave the best hugs back. As an adult, we were proud of his service to the country. He was such a handsome guy! We are so grateful that he enjoyed Christmas this year and laughed with all! It was great to see him interact with the little cousins and be such a good dad to JT! We know that so many hearts are broken, but, no more anquish for John, just happy memories of happier times♥️ Aunt Ruth and Uncle Jim

There are too many over the years to pick just one! I went to grade school and HS with John. We all had senior shore houses together after HS . We always had the same group of friends. John was always there my whole life with a big contagious smile on his face! My heart is broken for him, for his son, for his grieving parents and his whole family. I’ll always remember him with a huge smile and big heart! The struggles he had to endure were stacked against him and some of the most difficult ones you could possibly have . I’m thankful that he’s not in pain anymore but this world won’t be the same without him. I wish nothing but peace to the family and wherever John is now that he knows he was loved!
