John C. Vona Sr.

VONA John C. Sr., age 47 died suddenly on Dec. 23, 2013 of Springfield formerly of Chester. John was a 1984 graduate of St. James High School and a 1999 graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. He was a Marine Corps Veteran. John was a Sewer Inspector for Bradford Engineering Associates for 12 years and prior to that he worked for the Greif Bros. Corp. He was a history buff and enjoyed reading and watching old TV shows. He was also an avid photographer. John also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. Survived by his beloved wife of 19 years Jennifer L. (nee Gledhill), his loving children John C. Vona, Jr. “JC”, Nicolette A. Vona and Cameron D. Vona, his parents Constance L. Jones (nee McGuigon) and Carmen A. Vona also his sister Tina Marie Little (Jim). He is also survived by his in-laws Dolores and John Gledhill, Sr., his brother and sister-in-laws John Gledhill Jr. (Joanne), Lauren Evans (Martin) and Michael Gledhill (Carolyn) and his aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Stella and John Vona. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Sun. Evening 5-8 P.M. and Mon. Morning 9-10 A.M. at the D’ANJOLELL MEMORIAL HOME OF BROOMALL, 2811 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Service 11 A.M. Incarnation Holy Sacrament Church, Drexel Hill. Interment Ss.
