John Amoroso of Newtown Square, PA, died on August 9, 2008.

He was the beloved husband of the late Nora R. nee Travaglino and loving father of the late Thomas N.
He is survived by his son, John M.; his daughters-in-law, Linda and Jeanne Amoroso; his grandchildren, Thomas Christine, John Alisa, Kristen and the late Michael and his brother, Emilio “E.J.”.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Michael and Dominic and his sisters, Mary Amoroso and Christine Roberti.

Contributions in his memory to the Philadelphia Firemen’s Widows Fund, Local 22, Philadelphia Firefighter’s Union, 415 N. 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19123, would be appreciated.

To the Family and Friends of Mr. John Amoroso: I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you. Although we are not acquainted with one another, we all know what it feels like to lose one of our loved ones to death. Our Heavenly Father feels the pain that you are going through. He promises that the day is soon to come in which he will wipe the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever and death will be no more. He also promises that all those in the memorial tombs graves will hear his voice and come out. Until his words are fulfilled may each of you continue to take comfort in him.
