Trongo, Sr.1938~2021John A., age 82 of Drexel Hill, PA formerly of Overbrook passed away on September 28, 2021Affectionately known as “THE TRONG”, Big John, J.T and the most famous “LEGEND!”John enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners with his family and friends. Anyone who knew him, knew he made “THE BEST GRAVY AROUND!”He never missed watching a football game, especially watching his favorite player Tom Brady play. He was a carpenter by trade, and he was the best hands down!Predeceased by his loving parents Anna (nee Mignone) and Pasquale Trongo; his dear sister Rita Reitano; and his loving nephew Gabriel (Gabby) Jannetti.Survived by his cherished children, daughter Jill Trongo (son in law Danny Brusha); and son John Trongo, Jr. (daughter in law Dana) his 2 adoring grandchildren, Johnny III, and Gio Trongo; and his fun loving grand puppies; his dear brother Pat Trongo (the late Vicki)and sister Carmella Jannetti (the late Gabe); his loving nephew, John Jannetti and loving nieces, and many cousins;mother of his children Jeanie Trongo; and his dear friend and brother in law Buddy “BG” Galosi;Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 9:00AM-9:45AM with Funeral Mass to follow 10:00 AM (ALL IN CHURCH) St. Pius X Church 220 Lawrence Road Broomall, PA 19008.
