Jody Lynn Harman

Jody and I shared an office for a while and that meant many shared life stories, laughs and salty chips. I was privileged to watch her work for her beloved GED students, whose successes are part of her awesome legacy. When I asked her to volunteer for the G.E.T.T. event, she was right there to carry the red flag that she always insisted upon. One of my fun memories was our trip to the Washington Mall to the Jon Stewart-Stephen Colbert Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear. Jody was one of the sanest and fearless people I have ever known. She loved her family, friends and life in general. May God richly bless her generous soul and comfort all of us who loved her.

I knew Jody as a colleague over the years and now have the honor of serving in her old position with the GED Program at DCCC. I was very sad to hear of her passing, and will do my best to honor her memory by continuing to uphold the high standards that she set for this program.

Jody was my colleague, but most of all my friend. She was a wonderful, supportive person and her friendship meant so much. Her memory will live on in what she taught all of us. I will miss her greatly.

Jody will be sorely missed. She was the driving force behind the GED Program at DCCC. She had a great sense of humor and truly cared about others. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Irreplaceable.

I had the pleasure of working with Jody at the Careerlink at DCCC. To say she will be missed, is an understatement. Rarely in life do we meet people who are so passionate about helping others. She certainly was. I'm glad I took the opportunity to let her know how much I admired her before she left. I will keep her family in prayer during this most difficult time. God bless you and keep you.

I had the pleasure of working with Jody. She was truly a beautiful spirit and will be missed on Earth. May her passion and love for educating continue on at DCCC's GED program. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. My sincerest condolences.

Jody was a wonderful person, such a big heart and full of energy. She will truly be missed! Sending Blake, MacKenzie and Keegan strength, hugs and lots of love. So many wonderful memories we have of Jody that will live on in our hearts!

Jody's passing is truly heartbreaking. My deepest sympathy goes to her family and dear friends. She was alway a joy to work with, be with and to share heartfelt secretes. I will miss her tremendously.

Jody was a one-of-a-kind person and I will remember her as being friendly, down to earth and one that appreciated all the really important things in life especially her family. My introduction with Jody came about through work but my connection with her was as friends who shared common interest such as alternative music. Thank you, Jody for introducing me to Twenty One Pilots. To Blake, Mackenzie and Keegan, you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Remember that she will always be with you.

Jody was passionate about serving the students in her program. They benefited from her dedication and commitment. I was so sorry to hear of her passing.

I will miss Jody so much - I can't believe I will never get to talk with her again, to share all of our family news, our adventures, our ups and and our downs. Blake, Mackenzie and Keegan, you will be in my thoughts forever. Hold on to those happy memories. xoxo

I only knew Jody a short time but our brief friendship was memorable and bittersweet. She was a wonderful person who was devoted to her children and husband. I will miss our lunches and conversation. She will be missed.
