I met Jim at Mario's pizza shop in Boyertown. He was having lunch with some guys who came to stay at his home for a Windsor chair workshop. He was the sweetest man I ever met. I hardly knew him but when I was at Joe's and he was there, I would talk with him and see what he was up to. I found him to be very interesting to listen to, easy to engage in conversation, extremely intelligent, he was a true renaissance man. I am sad to hear he passed. I almost can't believe it. Its been a few years since I saw him, but I remember him being in such great health..kinda figured he'd be around for a while. He was a special kind of man..I will pray for you always Jim. It was a pleasure to have met you. To his wife and mother and daughter, I am truly sorry you lost him so soon. My prayers are with you.

When I think of Joanna's big brother, I think Rugby. I remember hanging at Joanna's, and meeting Jim after a a Rugby game. I don't think I knew what Rugby was at the time. I also remember a really sweet soft spoken , always smiling and a very thoughtful person. Jim will be missed by so many, may he Rest In Peace. Our sympathies to the Rendi's and all who loved him.

Sad to hear of Jim's passing. I met Jim at a craft show where he was showing his chairs and I with the Boy Scouts selling walking sticks. It turns out that both Jim and I shared the passion for making Windsor chairs and playing rugby. I got Jim to come out and play Old Boys a few times over the past 2 years. He loved it. It turned out that both he and I had the same mentor for rugby in Smedley Sharpe; just 20 years or so apart.RIP my friend. Now I now why you hadn't answered your cell phone the past 2 weeks. With you Jimmy, with you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
