Genevieve (Munzer) Novak, beloved mother and grandmother, age 86, died peacefully on June 29, 2011. Born in Chester Pa to the late Pius and Hedwig (Renn) Munzer. She had been a resident of Aston Pa for over 50 years. Graduated Notre Dame High School in Chester, and worked at Sun Oil for many years before starting a family. Later she worked for 30 years before retiring from Wilmington Dry Goods later named Value City. She was preceded in death by her husband John P. Novak after 54 years of marriage. Sister of the late Mary Hess, Lena Munzer, Hattie Quirk, Celia DeBright, Elizabeth Munzer, Pius Jr., Laurence and Leo Munzer. Genevieve is survived by her sons, John and his wife Rhonda of Newark De., Thomas and his life partner Mark Conway of Bear De., Carl Sr. and his wife Jane of Aston Pa.. Grandsons Carl Jr. of Gibbstown NJ, John of Aberdeen Md., and Ryan a PFC in the US Marine Corp., cherished great grand daughter Elizabeth R. Novak.; her sister Agnes (Dolly) Korejwo of Jennersville Pa, and special friend Kevin Gallagher of Abbey Manor. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tues. eve 6:00-8:00 pm and her funeral Wed. 8:30am at the Danjolell–Stigale Memorial Home 3260 Concord Rd. Aston. Funeral Mass 10am St. Joseph Church. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
