DAUMGary S. Daum, MD, born in Manhatten, NY, age 61, of Broomall, PA, Passed away with his wife, Jenn at his side, on March 1, 2019, after fighting a difficult and courageous battle with Cancer. Gary graduated from Bucknell University (1975-1979), Med School – Hanheman Hospital (1979-1983), Resident in Pathology at U. of Mass (1983-1987), Surgical Pathology Fellow at Hartford Hospital (1987-1988), Lankenau Pathology Association (1988-1995), Director of Residency Program at Lankenau (1992-1998), Main Line Pathology Associates (1995-2019), Director of Microbiology (1988-2019), President of Main Line Pathology (1998-2016) when he became ill. Chairman of Pathology for Main Line Health (2014-2016) when he became ill. Gary worked as a Pathologist with Main Line Pathology Associates, out of the Lankenau Hospital. He loved to play golf, enjoyed playing Bridge, and especially loved spending time with his family. Gary was predeseased by his mother Marlene (nee Friedman) Daum, hours before his own death.Survived by his beloved wife Jennifer “Jenn” (nee Platt) Daum, Loving son Jason Daum, Father Alan Daum, sister Karen Catron (Steve) and nephew Zachary Catron, his Aunt Marcia Friedman, and his In-Laws Madeline and Tom Higgins. A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Services & Interment Private.
