So sorry. Never forget the Friday after work group at Skippy's. Rest in Peace my Friend.
I had the privilege of knowing Ernie as a young teenage girl "hanging out" in Kirklyn. Had not seen him in close to 50 years, but as I previously stated I had the privilege of knowing him and will remember him always as a fun loving teenager too. My sincere sympathy to the Colantonio/Saraceni families. May he rest in paradise.
To a great coach and an even better person! It's sad to know you are no longer with us, but all of the great memories these past 12 years will keep your memory alive. I could never stay mad at you for too long as one of your players or as your assistant. It was an honor to call to my coach and more importantly my friend! I'm considering investing in a clipboard for this upcoming season, you showed me how they are properly used during a volleyball match. Until we meet again
No words can express the loss your family is going through right now. So sudden and unexpected. Your volleyball family is going to miss you tremendously. We truly enjoyed the many years we spent together watching you coach our daughter. The many happy moments of you coaching one daughter and having the other daughter as your assistant coach. I know we are going to miss you coming into a gym to watch your current and previous volleyball players, but you will always be with us during every game. I know you will be watching over your girls from heaven. To the Colantonio Family, please know that you have many friends and family to support you through this difficult time. Until we meet again.
There is not a better friend and coach than Ernie C. Ernie's smile lit up a room. We met at Libertybelles many years ago and stayed friends through the years. You coached Nicole along with your beautiful daughter, Ashley and I honestly can say that was Nicole's favorite year. You really knew how to make the girls better. I will never forget you Ernie. I will always remember the many bags of ROLO'S that you enjoyed! I am sure The Lord has you building something really special in Heaven !! I will keep your family in my prayers ! Love you Ernie C!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family. Ernie coached my daughter this past club season, and it was wonderful getting to know him. He was a good coach to the girls, and just a genuine person all-around. We are so sad for his loss, and will keep Ernie and the family in our thoughts and prayers.
To my best friend, you will be forever in my thoughts and prayers. Your family will miss you greatly as I will. I am lucky to have been your friend for over 50 years.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ernie's family. He was more than just a great coach. I am so lucky to have spent many seasons under his wing. He made me a better player and person. He gave his players his all, always believed in them, and pushed them to be their best. He had a huge heart and spirit. Thanks for everything Ern. You will be missed.
One time Ernie and I skipped High School and went over my grandmothers house in West Philly. We asked her if she would call in for us and she of course and said yes. Before we knew it she called in and said just calling in for Bill and Ernie, they wont be in today....haha...we were dead men. That how long I have been friends with Ernie. A few of us did everything together during those years, that bond will never disappear. Some of us are left but with a huge hole in our hearts. Ernie is now with David and a few others and someday we will all meet again. We will love you forever Ern, God Bless Barb, your girls, the grand kids and God Bless you my Friend.
Hey Ernie: Was counting on hooking up with you again at our 50th reunion in October, but that's not meant to be. Thanks for the help in organizing the reunion. I'll always remember those good old days in Kirklyn. You were a good friend and an even better person. Take care on this journey, I wish you well, my friend.
My Sincere Condolences to the Colantonio Family, I haven't seen Ernie since growing up in Kirklyn. I remember Ernie as being a very nice guy. My thoughts & prayers are with his family.
