Eileen M., age 80, of Newtown Square PA, passed away on January 27, 2023.

Predeceased by her mother Susanne Gibbons, father Edward Gibbons, and sister Helen Gibbons.

Survived by her daughter Meghan Gibbons.

With an unwavering work ethic, Eileen started in the steel industry at a young age, where she worked her way up through Accounting to a senior Sales role.  She continued covering clients up until her last few weeks in the hospital.  Aside from the steel industry, when her daughter headed off to college, she had also joined Nordstrom where she spent 25+ years, before retiring.  She loved staying busy and loved engaging with customers.

Eileen was a member of Aronimink Golf Club since 1977, where she enjoyed playing tennis for many years, and spending time at the pool.  Always active, she took up swimming laps herself at the YMCA, which she continued up until the age she passed away.

Eileen was a long-time parishioner of St. Anastasia’s Church.  Both she and her mother were also staunch supporters of the SPCA, where she adopted her most recent ‘family member’ – a Calico cat named Jazzy.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Saturday, February 11^th 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM followed by her Funeral Service 1:00 PM at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.  Interment at a later date.
