Sandra Verdi left a message on July 25, 2014:
Ed was a very good man. He was loved by many and would go out of his way to help people. I was one of those people who lived a block away from him and knew I could count on him. I'll never forget the Bob Seger concert we attended together quite a few years ago and how Ed would imitate Bob after that show about how he could only move his arms up and down like the groundhog on Caddy Shack, LOL. He was stating how Bob must be getting old if that is all he had to present on stage in terms of body movement. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you! Ed is with Jesus and His Father now with no pain or suffering and just happiness. :)
Jim Mullins left a message on July 25, 2014:
My name is Jim Mullins, Kathleen Ferris was my dad's favorite niece and her children were very special to him. Whenever I look upon old photos of Kathleen I see a twinkle in her eye, a smile on her face and hear her hearty laugh. The last time I spoke to Eddie was at Rita Ralph's wake. I mentioned my dream of a Mullins/Ralph/ Ferris family reunion. I don't remember anything that was said, but the thought of it invoked a big smile and a hearty laugh. Of all the time and money that ere he had was spent in good company. Of all the harm that ere he done ti’s time to forgive and forget. Of all that he done for want of love and wit is for us to keep in our hearts forever. So fill to Eddie a parting glass, farewell and joy to you all.
