Cheryl “Cheri” Lancianese, age 58, a life-long resident of Upper Chichester, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2021. Cheri graduated from Chichester High School in 1980. Cheri pursued a life-long career with the Department of Public Welfare where she retired after 35 years of service. Cheri had a passion for helping the community and quickly acquired another job with Guardian Services of Pennsylvania. Cheri’s greatest accomplishment in life was her family; she was married to the love of her life, Pat, for 26 years. Cheri and Pat have two beautiful children; Rachel and Jake – who made her life complete. Cheri never missed an event and was her children’s #1 fan and pushed them to be the best they could. Cheri was also a loving step-mother to Patrick and a loving “Gigi” to her grandchildren Bobby, Marissa, and Beau. Cheri enjoyed spending time in the sun, whether it was pool-side with her friends or at Virginia Beach with her toes in the sand. You could also find Cheri laying on the couch at night with her “grand-dog”, Wesley. Cheri loved chatting on the phone for hours-on-end with all of her friends. Cheri was predeceased by her father, Bob Barkman, who welcomed her home with open arms. Cheri is survived by her husband Pat; her adoring children Rachel, Jake, and Patrick (Christine); her mother Bea Barkman; her sisters Patti (Ken) Miller & Wendi Barkman; and her beautiful grandchildren Bobby, Marissa, and Beau. Cheri also had many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Family and friends are invited to celebrate and remember her life on Sunday, April 18th 2021 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at D’Anjolell Stigale Memorial Home located at 3260 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014.
