Calvin Edward Wyant , age 85, on Sept. 29, 2014 of Linwood.

Calvin worked as a master electrician for Sun Shipbuilding and the Phila. Naval Yard. Served in the Navy as an electrician EM3, he was a Mason and a member of the Boilermakers Union.

Husband of the late Joyce (nee Brawn), father of the late Owen, grandfather of the late Shawn, brother of the late John Wyant.

Survivors: Devoted father of Deborah ( Gale) Tranum, Kathlyn Wyant, Edward ( Patsy) Wyant, Dorothea Wyant, Warren Wyant. Also survived by his grandchildren Cheri, Dawn, Jamie, Brett, Aleigha, Victor, Kathy; his 9 great-grandchildren, brother of Dorthy Hoffman, Lillian, Lydia Golby, Mary Golby, Robert Wyant, Caroline Louz .

Graveside Service: Friday ( today) 1 pm at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, De. 19808

I am so sorry for your loss. Cal was loved by many people. I will always remember him as a kind and gentle man. He would bring me fruit and candy when I was crossing the children at Chi & Huddell. Rest in peace my friend. I will truly miss you.
