Barbara Ranieri

RanieriBarbara (nee De Orio) Ranieri, age 78 of Havertown, joined the love of her life on July 20, 2021She was born November 5, 1942, in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia. She graduated from West Catholic Girls High School and went on to become a licensed Hair Stylist. After marrying her beloved husband of 52 yrs., James, they moved to Havertown. Barbara worked part-time from home while raising their two children, James “Jamie” II and Stephanie Grimaldi (Piero).Barbara enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family or at home working in her garden. She loved to shop and had a great sense of style. She also had a passion for interior design and helped many friends and family decorate their homes.Predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 yrs. James J. Ranieri and her dear brother Jack De Orio.Survived by her cherished children James J. “Jamie” II, and Stephanie Grimaldi (Piero); her 5 adoring grandchildren Jacqueline, Brianna, Victoria, and Alexis Ranieri; and Giovanna Grimaldi; also, her dear sister Anne Hopkins.Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Friday, July 23rd 8:30-10:15 AM at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA 19008.
