Anne Marie “Nancy” Rafter

Rafter, Anne Marie “Nancy” (nee Johnston) passed on January 12, 2023. Wife of the late John J. (2007) and beloved mother of the late  James Rafter. Loving mother to Michele and John “Trav” Rafter. Cherished grandchildren Brian (Amanda) , Kevin, Joey and Simone Rafter. Great granddaughter  McKenna . Siblings; Maryanne Dittus and the late Kitty Johnston. And also survived by her niece Denyse Horn who was like a sister to her and many other loving nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a longtime resident of Folcroft. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Alexander and Mary Johnston. She graduated West Catholic for Girls High School. She worked for many years for Metro Car Dealership as a Bookeeper. She loved reading and spending time at the Beach. Her real love was spending time with her beloved family. She was the rock and Matriarch of her family. She will be greatly missed.
