Albert J. "Al" Melfi, Sr. of Sewell, NJ, formerly of Yeadon, PA, died on August 17, 2007.<br><br>A U.S. Army veteran and a 33 year employee of Lit Brothers Warehouse, as well as the Phila. Navy Yard and Ambu-Care, Mr. Melfi is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Margaret E. "Peggy" nee Gibbone.<br>He was the loving father of Albert J. Jr. "Al" Judithann of Aston, PA, Margaret "Margie" DiFranco Joseph of Blackwood, NJ, Damian Darlene of Mullica Hill, NJ, and Mary Katherine Reynolds Ed of Clifton Heights. He is also survived by 11 adoring grandchildren and 7 cherished great-grandchildren.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 600 Highland Drive, Suite 624, Westhampton, NJ 08060 or Meadow View Nursing and Respiratory Care Center, 1328 S.
