Rosemary “Rosie” Loveland

Rosemary “Rosie” Loveland passed away peacefully January 8, 2024. Rosie was loved by many and loved in return. She worked at Crozer Hospital in Peds until her retirement. Rosie always had a story to tell about the friends she made there. She loved animals: cats, dogs, sheep, and especially the baby giraffes, she watched like a hawk when they live-streamed a birth. Rosie was as bullheaded as they come and one of the kindest women anyone would have the pleasure of meeting. She loved her family more than anything and her sister was her best friend.

Rosie was predeceased by mother Elizabeth Brady Coombs, Father Walter Warren Loveland, stepfather Bob Coombs, brother Walter Loveland and his wife Ruth, and sister Barbara Ann Loveland. She is survived by nephews Walter J Loveland, Robert (Bronwyn) Loveland, Steven (Alana) Loveland, great-nephews Brendan and Nikolai Loveland, and her stepsister Joyce (Richard) Elias. At Rosie’s request the family will not be holding services.
Donations in Rosie’s honor can be sent to Providence Animal Center, Animal rescue of your choosing, or Vet office.
