Franklin Roosevelt (Frank), age 88, on October 28, 2022, of Broomall, formerly of Overbrook, PA
Frank married his childhood sweetheart Diana Cerrone of Philadelphia and together they raised their three girls (Diana, Terry, & Tricia) on Marlyn Road in Overbrook. He served in the Armed Forces working on missiles at peacetime from 1956-1958. He worked many jobs including windows and doors installer, truck driver, vending machine servicer for Mackie & Co., and subsequently retired as a mail carrier at the United States Post Office at Merion Station. He was a self-taught mechanic and handyman who could fix anything and everything. He was also a cat lover and over the years he cared for his 3 loving cats all named “Buddy”.
Predeceased by his parents William and Florence (nee Donahue), sisters Florence, Anna, and Helen, and brothers Billy and Bobby.
Survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Diana (nee Cerrone). Also, his loving daughters Diana DiPinto (Louis), Teresa McGuckin (Chris), and Patricia Brandimarto. Lastly, his 10 grandchildren Alycia, Christopher, Stephen, Jessica, Eric, Kyle, Michael, Dominic, Nicholas, and Anthony and 4 great-grandchildren Jordan, Michael, Colton, and Landon.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation on Wednesday, November 2nd between 930AM and 1045AM followed by his Memorial Service beginning at 11AM at the D’Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
